Nationwide Connection: Winmate Achieves TELEC Certification for Its Rugged Tablet and PPCs

Before entering the Japanese market, radio device manufacturers and importers must verify that their products follow Japanese Radio Law. It includes but is not limited to cellular phones, wireless LANs, and business-purpose radios. This authentication is accomplished by obtaining the mandatory TELEC certification.

Winmate Inc. announced that our rugged tablets and Panel PCs had been approved by the Telecom Engineering Center (TELEC) as products following the Japan-EC MRA. The TELEC certificate demonstrates that Winmate Tablets and PPCs have met the Japanese standards for radio equipment. It further strengthens Winmate’s international presence in the Internet of Things market.

TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is a leading Japanese radio equipment certification and testing organization with over 40 years of experience. It has handled technical regulations conformity certifications for radio equipment, calibration of measuring instruments, and various testing under Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). The wireless products need to get TELEC Certification (mainly for Radio Frequency) when entering the Japanese market.
